Lucas Pringle

Lucas Pringle is a graduate of Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge, where he graduated with a double-first in English Literature. Having ranked 3rd in the university for the subject, he was made a Senior Scholar of the college. Lucas specialized in the interaction of Literature, Philosophy, and History, with a particular focus on Ethical Philosophy and the literature of the United States. Having graduated from Cambridge, Lucas completed a Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP University where he attained a distinction. He is now completing the Solicitor's Qualifying Exam ahead of a training contract at a 'Magic Circle' law firm. As an editor, Lucas has previously run student news source RhinoPress, alongside editing at Cambridge news source Varsity and the Cambridge Journal for Law, Politics and Arts.


Previously, Lucas has extensive experience with academic competitions - with previous achievements including coming first place in the Ayn Rand Institute Essay Prize 2018; third place in the John Locke Institute Essay prize 2017; runner-up in the New College of Humanities Essay Contest 2018; and runner-up in the Orwell Youth Prize 2016.
