The Phuc Mai

As an honourary writer and website designer for Penlogue, I feel that this opportunity has helped me massively improve my writing and website designing cababilities. I am quite grateful for this opportunity since it was the first time I got to try out designing on a completely different software with many new complex mechanics on an interactive digital platform, a world I was yet to explore. Only through hands-on experience working with others’ visions, executing orders, and constant trial and error was I able to grasp this new skill to such a level which could never have happened without my time working with Penlogue.

Similarly, Penlogue’s influence over my literary expression has been insurmountable as a beacon of courage and inspiration. I’ve written three publicised poems for the journal and has more in the making, a personally incredible feat considering that never in my wildest dreams would I have thought of writing serious poems, let alone publishing them. The amount of scholary genius, sheer dedication, and superb work ethics has been a pleasure to witness and is continuing to fuel my passion for literature and the arts.

In the end, my experience with Penlogue has been an unforgettable one that has taught me so much not only on the technical side of visual art but also gave me a renewed love and broadened perspective on the art of literature as a whole.
